Mold Toxicity: Recognizing Symptoms Across the Body Systems

| Mold Illness |

What’s so tricky about mold illness is that its symptoms can greatly overlap with those of other conditions. To name a few – chronic fatigue, ADHD, autism, Lyme disease, autoimmune disorders, neurological issues, PANDAS/PANS, MS, Tourette’s syndrome, adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia… And then it begs the question – is mold illness at the root of many of these conditions?

Symptoms and severity can vary greatly from person to person, depending on factors such as genetics, immune function, the type and extent of mold exposure etc. A biological family can all be living in mold – some may be seemingly unaffected, whereas some are greatly affected. Traditional rules of medicine don’t apply when it comes to mold. 😞

Makes for a challenging diagnosis, and in turn so often missed. Or, you may end up with a long list of diagnoses and failed treatment plans and the root is never discovered. I cannot emphasize this enough, if this is you, consider ruling out mold. When I had my clinic in hot, humid Austin, I found it be a root cause for so many of my chronic illness patients. Very difficult to recover your health if the root is untreated.

Dr. Jill Crista, author of the book “Break the Mold” did an incredible job of breaking down the different body systems and potential mold-related illness symptoms associated with the each body system. Check out the slides ⬆️ Thank you @drjillchrista πŸ™
